Born and raised in England where I received my formative education a process which has never ceased. I’ve been a school chaplain, teacher, headed an ordination training course, an archdeacon, a bishop and best of all a parish priest. I’m in love with the Anglican Way, lament its descent into contemporaneous sentimentality and loss of liberality and civility. I am a Catholic in ecclesiology and sacramental life but not a “party” Churchman. I describe myself as an cynical optimist.
