Bio

A.B., M.A., English Lit., from Cal, Berkeley; M.Div., Church Divinity School of the Pacific; D.Min., the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

Rector of St. Andrew’s, Pittsburgh, since July, 1994. a priest of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, orthodox in theology, cautious and moderate in temperament, “remaining Episcopalian” through the current troubles, a member of the Communion Partner Rectors list.  My continuing interests include the Anglican pastoral culture, Benedictine religious life, Biblical Studies, poetry, mystery novels, and historical biography. In my spare time I enjoy yard work and the Pittsburgh sports scene.  Baseball especially, all my life, but in this town Football and Hockey are also seriously fun business.

I post sermons and occasional reflections at http://revbmrobison.blogspot.com.

I had 15 Minutes of Fame at the beginning of 2008 as one of the “Pittsburgh 12″: http://3riversepiscopal.blogspot.com/2008/08/narrative-regarding-signing-of-january.html

Turned 55 earlier this year, husband of Susy, who is the Director of the Volunteer Office of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Father of Daniel (26) and Linnea (23), both of whom are still in school . . . .
